ESSIAC PRODUCTS SERVICES, INC. has the only registered trademark #1,625,600 for the name ESSIAC® in the U.S. You have no guarantee of consistency from other companies. There are those that will tell you otherwise - CAVEAT EMPTOR! - let the buyer beware.

WHAT IS ESSIAC®?

Essiac® is a non-toxic, nutritional FOOD in decoction form (a method of extracting the essence of herbs) that is an herbal folk remedy of the North American Othchipwe Ojibway Indian. Named Essiac® by Rene Caisse (her last name backwards), the herbs in this formula have been used over the millennia by the healers of China (Chinese traditional medicine is founded upon volumes of historical herbal data), Europe, and the Americas.

Essiac® is an ADAPTOGEN - - This unique food substance may OPTIMIZE the health and well being of each individual by providing bio-available nutrients the body needs for homeostasis (self-healing power of the body). As needed, Essiac® adapts to be immunostimulating, suppressing, or modulating - the goal being a healthy, system-wide equilibrium.

Essiac® is also available to practitioners in injectables, salves and RMC kidney pills. The injectables are restricted foods because of the form of entry - this doesn't make it a drug. HOW DO I USE ESSIAC®?

Drink up! Ideally on an empty stomach. ESSIAC® may be used as a TUNE-UP, 1 oz. per day for 16 days (one bottle) at the beginning of each season of the calendar year - four bottles a year for maximized well-being and vitality! Because when your vital energies are maximized - your immune resistance performs properly to protect your body.

If you've been ill or extremely run down and your sense of well-being is sub-optimal, you may want to take more.

A practitioner trained in the use of ESSIAC® can customize ESSIAC® to your individual needs with a galenical formulation. (Galenical = individualized).

ESSIAC® is not a drug and therefore will not interfere with anything you may currently be taking.

DECOCTION: FROM 1 OZ. TO MAX 4 OZ. PER DAY WITH DOUBLE ITS AMOUNT OF WARM WATER AT LEAST 1/2 HOUR BEFORE BREAKFAST OR AT LEAST 2 HOURS AFTER A MEAL. OTHER USES MAY BE RECOMMENDED BY YOUR PRACTITIONER SUCH AS GARGLE, TOPICAL APPLICATIONS, ETC.

INJECTABLES: THIS PRODUCT IS SOLD ONLY UPON RECEIVING A WRITTEN PRESCRIPTION FROM A HEALTH PRACTITIONER. THE TRUTH ABOUT ESSIAC®

ESSIAC® is an Ojibway Indian decoction that has been known to be effective in the battle against cancer since 1922. ESSIAC® is the name written backwards of Rene Caisse, the nurse who obtained this remarkable herbal remedy from an Ojibway Indian Medicine Woman.

Since the FDA does not permit us to make certain medical claims, we cannot report the many cases of disease which were cured, alleviated, mitigated, or prevented by the use of the product ESSIAC®. Nor can we explain how it normalizes imbalances of the body systems or how it increases stamina and well being. ESSIAC® has been researched in various forms of cancers and degenerative diseases, PMS, sexual dysfunction and learning disabilities. It has been used effectively to enhance learning, strengthen the immune system and to maintain wellness. We cannot tell you all the benefits of this life enhancing decoction, since it is not our intention to contravene the FDA laws and regulations thereof.

Homemaker's Magazine published a very fine article on ESSIAC® in 1977, written by Sheila Snow et al. It tells the story of Rene Caisse's work. Over a 50 year period she was able to save the lives of countless people, many of whom attended her funeral 35 years later. The article describes her glorious success with the dreadful disease of cancer and her subsequent harassment by the Canadian FDA. Her clinic was approved by the government, yet was closed by it.
